12-16-10 we had snow today that ended at 12 noon. I get home from work at about 4:30 and have no Direct tv signal. I do all the typical routine to get the signal back and cannot get it back! So I call once and only get to a computer and they lead me through the steps I have already tried. So i call back after I get the kids fed, etc. I talk to a female who tells me the cable from the dish is unplugged somewhere. I go to all three receivers and nothing is unplugged. The TV worked when I went to work and nobody was home all day. It started to lightly rain about 12 noon to 3pm. When I got home the temperature was 38-39 degrees. So the rain was not freezing. After listening with the computer I went up to the dish and cleared it of any snow/ice. I call back and talk to a female who didn't help so I asked that a service technician come out to fix the issue. She said she could not do that because of the weather. I told her it didn't matter what day, i'll take the appointment next week. Finally I asked her for her supervisor and she put me through to a guy named Brandon who identified himself (i have his employee # if anyone wants to see it). He told me if the problem was from noon on why was I just calling at 6:30 or so? I told him I called earlier when I got home from work and what did it matter what time I called? He said that it was reading 31 degrees and that the rain is freezing so I informed him that at 4:30 it was above freezing so the freezing rain does not hold water in this case (and I cleaned off the dish!). I asked him if I could schedule a technician (not today, in the next couple of weeks) and he told me no that they reserve technician visits for customers who have real issues! so I request for his supervisor and he rattles off like 10 different names (Ralston, Chris, Ulysses, etc., etc.) but would not connect me to any of them! Amazingly the minute I hung up the phone with this jerk the Direct tv signal comes back. Coincidence? Don't think so... AWFUL customer service and the supervisor was 10x worse than the initial agent.

I ordered a dvd package set from this website-received email confirmation for it and it was charged and the cash has been taken from my account. I realised it has been quite a while and I still havent received my order so I went to their website to get a number to call or something and the website has been seized! I want my $50 back! Is there anyway I can get my cash back or is there no chance?

Camden College Park – Safety
I began living at Camden College Park in early January 2010. Since then, the fire alarm has been pulled countless time at 0300/0400 in the morning. There have been 60 reported car break-ins within the past 12 months, which is verifiable through the records department at District one (1) in Prince Georges County. I m unsure of the amount of home break-in but Camden has sent out an email notice to residents alerting them to this. They however never provided any information in regards to vehicle thefts. When trying to rent here, they will allure you with the gated community feel. I can tell you that it s a false sense of security. First off, it s easy to follow someone in through the gated garage door, as it happens daily. If you don't believe me, and you re considering renting here, just sit back and watch at your leisure. The loading dock doors on the first floor have been pried open and are easy to just yank open. This was brought to the attention of the leasing office but still remains unsecure. The security cameras are only activated via motion As in vehicle motion. A person walking slowly won t set the cameras to record. There are no security cameras near the loading dock or down any of the halls to provide protection. Now I could continue on and on about the security issues, but just contact district one, or district six and speak with a Prince George s officer and they will tell you the facts. Actually, there are PG County police officers who live in the community, and they will additionally verify everything that I have said. Now let's discuss everything else. Dog Poop and Dog Pee everywhere. Camden does an excellent job of providing trash stations for your dogs poop, yet I see owners walking their dogs and letting them free poop on the grass. In fact, once while I was picking up my dog's feces, I stepped in someone else s dog s dodo. Now Camden responded with an email saying that people will be fined $75.00 for not picking up after their dog. Once again, if you re considering renting, walk along the grass on the sides of the building facing IKEA and see for yourself. How about the noise! Now the Camden leasing office will go out of their way to tell you that they don't rent to college kids. Enjoy the surprise when you rent. Six college kids splitting the rent and the smell of marijuana as you pass their apartment. In conclusion, thankfully my lease is almost up and I will be moving as far away from this place as possible. Good news for you if you don' t listen to my advice and want a studio. Walgreens Pharmacy – wrong drug rude personal
I was given a hep A vaccine for a child twice, and both times had to return some distance from the drug store to replace with correct drug.They told my doctor to just give me twice as much but he said NOOOO!!! Last time I was told it was my fault so I never received the vaccine.I have over 50 miles in this problem alone and my life could be in danger untill I recieve this vaccine...Then I Was told my doctor never called in a scrip refill, when I would call the doc he would assure me I was being run around by walgreens. The girl who waited on me was rude as always. I have been given the wrong drug several times and when you get home they will not return it so I had to pay for a second time for the right drug!!! I could go on and on but just do not go thru this maddening situation and go to another pharmacy. Steer clear of the Walgreens on Gatlinand Savage and Port st Lucie and Tulip. They could kill you.

ComED – Overcharges
I am completely dumbstruck. this month ComEd quadrupled (this is an exact, not an estimation) my electricity bill. Never in the last year and a half of service have I ever had to deal with such a problem. this month this company failed to physically read my reader, so whichever bimbo was in charge of tending to my estimation, they must have assumed that I had overindulged on the the light usage. I am one person, who is home four hours a day, and that time is used for sleeping, not flicking the lights on and off in Morris-Code into the wee hours of the morning to the building across the street, nor are they used as strobe lights to hold chic raves for the trendy youth. Frustrated, I called and tried to get ahold of someone to assist me in their error, and adjust the ballooned charge. Much to my dismay, I couldn't get out of their automated system to speak with anything other than a cocky voice recording. After trying to submit my meter reading for last month (a choice I was not made aware of until this atrocity had already bitten a portion of my earnings) through the ComEd webpage, I discovered that they would not allow me to submit my accurate reading because it fell WELL below their estimate from this month. If I had a pair, ComEd would be yanking me by them. However, I sit here, trying to figure out what my options are to protest and avoid another inflated bill. Any advice?

verizon – fairpoint- direct tv – false advertising
In october 2008, i signed up for a $99./mo special being ofered by verizon and direct tv. After several billing cycles, i noticed i was paying quite a bit more than the $99. I called verizon to explain and they said i had to call direct tv as verizon was charging the correct amount. I had no way of knowing because the bill was too confusing. I called direct tv and they told me i had to notify them within 2 weeks of the special deal or i had to pay the full amount. I told them i was never notified of this and i have no record of any coupon requesting that i do this. I told them i wanted to cancel my account and they told me i couldn't as i had signed a contract for 18 months. This also, i was never notified. I finally found this on the back side of the installation checklist. So not only was i not getting the $99 bundle special, i was n't getting the dsl to work. When i called verizon to see it they could do something about the service, they sent me anothe modem which additionally didn't work. Shortly after that, verizon was sold to fairpoint. I was paying over $150 per mo for waht was a $99 special. I called fairpoint and cancelled there service as i got no satisaction fr9m them. I continued with direct tv as i was required per their contract(?) to keep in service for 18 months. My bill for direct tv alone was 58.54in june of 2009 and increased to 70.69 when i finally cancelled the service in october 2010. I wasted more time on the phone trying to get somebody to reply my questions. The tv service was ok but trying to get an honest reply from anyone was a trip and a half. I will never do business with any of the companies ever again. I feel like i've been played for a sucker and it won't happen again.

I was scammed just like the rest of those complaining. I want to DO something about it. If there are this many of us with complaints, isn't there the possibility of a class action lawsuit? I cannot believe they have been getting away with this for so long.

bsnl karaikudi circle – phone is out of order
I would like to take to your kind notice that, our bsnl andline connection number is lying dead last one month(04574-264365, 264366, 26411.But 90% of the time the phone is out of order every week . We have already registerd the complaint at thiruppuvanam bsnl exchange &manamurai jto incharge also, He said that it will be resumed by today positively, But no result.still our phone is out of order.How to proceed the matter? and how to get superior service?.So kindly I request you to look in to the matter as soon as possible.

Home shop 18 – defective mobile
Home shop 18 had supplied ONIDA MOBILE by money on delivery basis to me in july. BUT, they did not check before dispatch whether the mobile is operational or not. I complained to them many times but of no use. On raising the complaint on this portal, Home shop18 picked up the mobile 20 days back. Now I am subsequent with them for replacement, but they are not giving me status of the complaint. (Home shop18 complaint no. 5946378)

Taco Bell – www.opinionport.com/yum – false promise
I went to Taco Bell purchased some food and was given a certificate that said I could fill out a survey for a chance to win $1000.00 I have a greedy spot or two and few minutes to spend so I fired up fire fox and went to the web address on the certificate. The website looks just like one of those pages that has been ripped off by a url squatter and there was no survey to do. It seems very odd that Taco Bell would do anything that lame. Now I am depressed. And it is all their fault...

park laurel – good
I have lived at park laurel apartments for 2 months now, I don't have any problems with this company, I see alot of bad talk bout them but from what I see the only thing I don't like is the dog mess. It seem that everyone have dogs and let them use the bathroom on the sidewalk were you can easily step in it which that is a people issue with their dogs. Other than that I love the rental office staff they are nice and helpful when something is wong in your apartment they come on time or let you know if they can not come right away. No issues on waiting for them to come fix something. I love my place and look forward to being here for a while :)

AT&T U-verse – AT&T U-verse lack of training and professionism
U-Verse Account number: 107352764 To Whom It May Concern: I am an AT&T wireless iphone user, but never use AT&T other service before and I wanted to give AT&T internet a try. In the month of August, AT&T had DSL elite promotion for $20 a month, which I called to sign up at August 11th. However, AT&T executive told me my home address no longer offer DSL service. Instead, she promise $250 gift card for sign up the U-Verse internet service and $100 rebate for Modem. I believe what she said and agree to sign up without hesitation. Initially, AT&T missed appointment schedule at August 27th for no explanation. I took off & loss a day's pay to wait for the technician who never appear. Finally, after persistent calls to AT&T during night, they finally sent someone and got it installed at August 28th. Late September, I Received the first bill and found out the monthly price is higher than expected. Called AT&T U-Verse customer service immediately and was told they can not honor the $250 gift card promotion which was promised earlier. Instead, I was instructed to close the account, return the modem and ignore the bill I received since I am qualified for full refund. I followed the instruction and returned the modem, then totally put whole thing behind me. But starting from December, I start to get credit collection agency call for owning AT&T cash ~$180. I was very angry and called AT&T at Dec 14th. I talk with executive, followed by Manager (melinie). They agreed to remove $100 modem charge only, because I indeed sent it back by USPS. But they insist on the rest $80 since they do not have any record in their system that I am qualified for either gift card promotion or full refund. I nicely asked them to go over the recording of each conversation, and they will find the proof that I am the victims in both cases. "AT&T is large corporations and representatives do make mistakes, which we are not responsible", I was told. Now, I have no choice but escalate the issue. Hope it will get addressed by professional manner. In summary: 1. AT&T either does not train the representatives sufficiently or they are instructed to mislead customers. 2. I get in-consistent information from every executive. The first person use $250 gift card promotion to sign me up on U-verse internet; the second person does not honor the offer but agree to cancel the service and give me full refund; The last person, Melinie, does not honor both offers, and insist I pay for AT&T's mistake. 3. AT&T miss initial installation date for no any single reason or call. I lost 1 days pay for nothing. 4. What I get is time and aggravation spent talking to representatives to address the issue. 5. Finally, I still receive morning and/or night call from Credit collection agency every day.
