Kenmore Refrigerator – Model # doesn't exist

I bought a Sears Kenmore refrigerator, model # 596.73509203 in May 2004. Six weeks ago the refrigerator stopped working. I called the appliance repair and they came to the house and advised I needed to replace the compressor and printed circuit board. They had the compressor but not the circuit board - it had to be ordered. Two weeks go by and they come to replace the PCB and it's the wrong one. They re-order it and another two weeks go by. The part comes in and the 2nd PCB is wrong. Now Sears is saying they can't identify the model # even though it's clearly listed on the tag inside the refrigerator. On Saturday, I physically took my original Sears receipt, the manual that came with the refrigerator and the actual PCB to the Sears Parts store in McMurray PA. They could not identify it or the model #. They did order me a part they "think" might work but until it comes in, we have no way of knowing. I can't believe that a Sears product purchsased 6 1/2 years ago would not be recorded anywhere in your system. I have been without a refrigerator for 6 weeks and I really need to get this fixed. I went to Sears and looked at new ones but they were too expensive. The Sears salesperson told me the average life of an appliance is 5-7 years. If I can get another 5 years out of this one by replacing the compressor & PCB, it makes sense for me to want to get this fixed. He additionally told me you now make your products compliant with energy star. He said the new appliances have to be energy efficient but no one mandates how long they have to last. All I want is the correct part so I can get my refrigerator repaired and back in use. can anyone help me?

Acer All-in-One Aspire Z5710 – A Very Bad Experience With ACER Malaysia And Their Dealer

On 20 Jan 2011, I purchased an All-in-One Aspire Z5710 at Style Vision (Melaka) Sdn Bhd (Jusco) in Malacca for RM 2 699. At first, I was told by the salesperson from the retail shop mentioned above that my PC is given 1 year International Warranty which i can seek for technical support / service in Singapore if my PC is having problems. And i decided to purchase the item from them since the warranty is covered internationally. To make sure, i even double confirmed with them if i am really entitled for that international warranty as i am a Malaysian currently working in Singapore before i made my payment. Their reply is 'Yes' as long as i am a Malaysian. Problems started to occur after a few days. My PC started to hang for the first time and this happened continuously for a couple days. I tried to restart the system immediately but there were no response. And every time when this happened, the system can only restart the next day. I thought it is just a very small problem, therefore i proceed to do a basic recovery, hopefully the system will be fine after that. I continued using the PC as usual. Unfortunately, i started to encounter more problems. I tried to email ACER in Malaysia regarding the problems. And hope that ACER can help me to resolve it. But there were no response at all. I proceed to write another email to ACER in Singapore, the customer service here is kind to help. They gave us few instructions and suggested me to re-install NVIDIA driver. After re-installing the new driver, the system could not connect to my wireless network and i got the message 'The Default Gateway Is Not Available'. In the end, the system couldn't even start up. The only way is to send my PC to ACER Service Centre in Singapore on 19 Feb 2011. And i was told by one of the technicians that the PC is not covered by International Warranty since i purchased it from Malaysia. Certain amount will be charged accordingly.Once again, i called the retailer in Malaysia. At first they still insisted that my PC is covered by international warranty. In the end, the retailer told me otherwise and asked me to send the PC to JB for service without any apology. I tried to call the person-in-charge of the retail shop. But he did not even bother to speak to me. This is really disappointing. I demand a full refund from that retail shop for being misled on the coverage of warranty and hope that ACER will help to resolve the problem. Therefore, i wrote another email to ACER Malaysia HQ, marcom department. The person from Marcom did not reply me until i sent in another email the next day afternoon. I had no other alternative but to call him directly. They said they were still working on it. The person-in-charge from ACER Melaka Raya branch, Mr. Keh, told me that the salesperson from Jusco will give me a call. But this did not happen. In the end, I tried to call the salesperson again. But the salesperson from Jusco did not even bother to settle the problem with me. I tried to call the Mr. Keh again. But it seems that they have no intention to settle the problem for me. I was utterly upset! Is this how a big company like ACER handles things? What is making me more upset is that Mr. Keh kept saying that their dealer has more than 10 years experience and the salesperson knows very well that the PC is not covered by International Warranty. Is this how they handle things? Are they trying to say i am cheating them? A very simple question, if i know that the warranty is not covered in Signapore, i would rather purchase it in Singapore.Until now, the problems still remain unresolved...

DriveTime – Wants to take advantage of people!

My husband and I are looking to buy another vehicle. We don't have very good credit and so are limited as to where we can purchase a vehicle. We called 1-800-barnone since we had seen their commercials on television and they put Drive Time in touch with us. We do not live in the same city they are located but they asked us to set up an appointment. They really wouldn't go over pricing of the vehicles we were interested in over the phone so that raised a red flag. We still decided to go and check it out. The vehicle we wanted to look at they had marked almost $5000 above book value. They wanted a huge down payment of $4500 and they wanted payment of of over $400 a month plus they charged 20% interest. My husband and I about choked. Then they gave us a list of cars that we had absolutely no interest in what so ever and asked if we wanted to look at any of those. We said "No Thanks"! Sheesh we may have bad credit but we aren't ***!!! It seems to me that because they are a buy here pay here place they think they can take advantage of the consumer and that is very sad!!! I definitely would not recommend them to anyone! Buyer Beware!!

Orthowhite and Bella White – claiming cash from account

I took up the offer of free teeth-whitening pens from the above companies with the cost of shipping at £1 per co. I received a call from the Fraud Prevention Department of my bank with morning who advised me that these companies have taken in total just over £90 from my account. I have tried emailing these deceptive companies but they have bounced back. I would be most grateful if you could publish my complaint to a wider audience and perhaps let me know how I can reclaim my cash.

Amazon.com – Payment method

I purchased two items on Amazon.om through third party vendors. I choose to use my american express points for payment. I had enough points to pay for my purchases, my transaction was accepted and order confirmed. Behind the scene, Amazon changed my payment method from amex points to am ex itself, I did not approve the change amazon made. Upon reviewing my am ex bill, i noticed the changes, called Amazon, they said i used third party vendor and am ex points not allowed with third party vendor. My complaint was forwarded and I was to be contacted in 24 hours, no call. Contacted Amazon again, they told me it's my problem not theirs and I should contact the third party vendor if they will accept am ex points. Amazon is deceiving their customers, this is bait and switch. I would not have bought those items if I knew I could not use my am ex points. This is deceptive advertising, and additionally Amazon changed my payment method without my permission, it is wrong.

Cosmetology Schools – Cosmetology School Scams

Please be aware of the ridiculous policies that Cosmetology schools have and the quality of training is poor. If you have not been screwed over by a cosmetology schoolyet, save yourself and go to a community college where you will pay a lot less and get the same if not superior training. There are five universal haircuts and should it cost up to $25, 000.00, depending on which school you call. Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC charges $22, 000.00 for tuition. I was refused training as a student at Aveda and the school was so over crowded, the students barely had go to go and no room to place their supplies. It was like a cattledrive at Aveda. I filed a report to the NC state board of cosmetology, the accreditors for AVeda is NACCAS and I filed a complaint with them, reported Aveda to the Department of Education and Office of Inspector General, wrote congress, senate, Better Business Bureau and a lawyer to file a civil suit. I need as many people that have been wronged by AVeda or any cosmetology school to start a class action lawsuit. This is pretty much the only way to really go after these scammers. contact me at arussell25@yahoo.com

Aveda Institute – bad experience

Be aware of Aveda Institutes. Before I enrolled at Aveda they promised me all the one on one instructor/student time that I would need, small class size, the greatest training, and more…Aveda Instututes do not let the student have their tips from clients. Aveda threatened the students on a regular basis, that if we kept any time, even one-dollar, the student would be terminated on the spot. The first day of class, there were not enough chairs to accomade the 35 students (I was told classes were no more than 10 to 15 students). We colored for five weeks with crayons. Reverse discrimination became a problem. It was ok for some students to say white remarks and the instructors reversed discrimnated too. Once on the clinic floor, I was refused live model-services by the school. I repeatedly questioned to be given some walk-ins but was neglected. After I completed 51% of my hours, I was terminated and charged 100% tuition. Aveda charges $22, 000.00! Subsequent to my termination, I was harassed by the AVeda staff, Lisa, Cara, Kim, Alley, Jessica, Jimmy, Sean. I was called into a tiny office where Lisa and Cara accused me of being rude to a customer. I told them that I was not and did not know why they were saying this. I started to break into uncontrollable tears and questioned to talk later. They didn't care how I felt and refused to listen to me. I eventually couldn't take anymore of the browbeating and stood up turned away from them and tossed the brush into the air and left the room. It is not illegal or criminal to toss anything into the air, by the way. Once I walked outside of the building, I as surrounded by Lisa, Cara, Kim, Alley, Jessica and Jimmy. I was in tears and couldn't get any words out to talk. I sat at the picnic table while they harassed me even more. I as told to take a week off and come back to school the subsequent Tuesday. THe next week I arrived at Aveda and was told to meed Kim, Alley and Jessica in Jessica's office. AGain, I was surrounded and harrassed. Kim told me that I was not a excellent fit for the school and that I was a excellent student and could transfer to another school. I questioned Kim for a second chance at Aveda, but she said no. I still tried to get back into Aveda but they ignore my emails and phone calls. I realized that AVeda terminated at 51% of my completed hours. Once a student completes 50% of the hours, Aveda claims 100% tuitin, which is $22, 000.00. I don't have this kind of CASH. I can never get another Pell Grant for cosmetology. I have thousands to pay back in student loans because of Aveda. I reported Aveda to the Office of Inspector General, Department of Education, NC State Board of Cosmetology, NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences), Better Business Bureau, Congress, Senate, Ombudsman at the US Dept of Education and Federal Trade Commission. I have any attorney for a civil suit opposed to Aveda. If anyone has been wronged by Aveda or any other Cosmetology school, please email me at arussell25@yahoo.com…I want to start a class action lawsuit

Aveda Institute – unfair termination

I was unfairly terminated from Aveda Institute Cosmetology. I was a fantastic student. At 50% of a students completed hours, Aveda collects full-tuition of $22, 0000. I was terminated at 51% of my completed hours. My entire time on the clinic floor, the Aveda staff refused to five me live model services. Now I have hours that do not transfer to other cometology schools because I have insufficient live model services. I was taken into a small office and brow beaten by instructors and falseley imprisioned. Then I escaped the room and once I was outside the Aveda building, five Aveda staff members surrounded me, again fake imprisonment. I filed a police complaints, given I have a three year statute limit. Anyone feel wronged by Aveda Institutes, please contact me for a class action suit.

Cosmetology Schools – poor training

If you or anyone you know are thinking about signing up for one of these over-priced cosmetology schools such as Aveda, Regency, etc… Please be aware of cost and traiing. Community Colleges offer training just as excellent maybe superior than these poser cosmetology schools such as Aveda where you are paying for a name. Be careful of the contracts at these huge shot schools as well. Once you complete 50% of your hours at these schools, they charge you 100% tuition, which can be up to $22, 000.00 or more, depending on the schools tuition cost. Aveda Insitutute that I went to told us on a daily basis that they could terminated us just because they wanted to, and they did! If you do choose to train at one of these schools like Aveda etc… and you are wronged, contact the Office of Attorney General online and file a complaint. You have to be persistant with the OIG and let them know you are serious about your being wronged by a cosmetology school. The Department of Education takes these complaints seriously and will investigate for you. Excellent luck! and a community college is a excellent place to get a cosmetology certificate.

Bank of America – Loan modification

Bank of america has been misleading me. I have a rental property that needs to be modified. They had approved it twice with another Arm Loan. I did not accept it. They additionally gave me 3 month trial last June 2010. After that They did not give my loan. Then they said it is not my primary residence, then all of a sudden I felt misled. They first tell me to go on default to modify loan to modify it. Then they say it is not my primary reisdence, after approving loan mod twice in the past. I am deserving of the modification because I did not get a loan I agreed to. the Broker Scott Nueberger disappeared into thin air and did not give me all of my loan docs.. I clarified all this. They do not let me talk to the negotiator, or anything and now they said even after 3 month trial they that I paid on time they still did not give it to me. They lied misled me and I have ruined my credit over this.. I reckon they want me to foreclose for thier tax right off. Also my primary residence, I had to hire an attorney because of the run a round and lies. We need to cooperate with one another and the greed of the lenders is out of control!! Tell Obama to stop giving them tax right off so they loan mofidfy everything..
