platinum online group – overdrawn

on 2/3/11 $99.49 was withdrawn from my checking acct and i didnt authorize it. so i was charged 37.00 for my acct being overdrawn. On 2/10/11 the same thing happened for a second time and i was charged another 37.00 now i am a bit pissed i want my cash back in my acct! totaling 173.49 is a bit ridiculous

Canadian Tire – Poor Quality Products

Having grown up calling Canadian Tire, "Crappy Tire", due to poor quality of products I vowed never to purchase from them again. However, after a new flagship store opened up in Richmond Hill, I thought that I would give it another try. Over the past 3 years, every product that I bought from that store was damaged upon opening the packaging, or broke within 30 days of use. My latest purchase, that of an electric fireplace was no exception. Just over 60 days of use, the product failed to operate. It was a gift, so that made it even more embarrassing! After contacting the manufacture, as per instructions included with the product, a replacement part was shipped ; however, did not match. Further inquires concluded that the fireplace was built in 2007 and parts were no longer made for it. So, my story is this: I bought an electronic fireplace in 2010 (just 3 months ago), which was clearly an end-of-the-line that Crappy Tire had no problems selling in their store. They probably made a huge profit on this clear-out item, which they sold for full retail; and accepted the fact that support was no longer available.

Infinity Insurance – DONT reply OR RETURN YOUR CALLS, ALL HE SAID SHE SAID, NOTHING BUT LIES, THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO PAY

I resently rear ended someone who was insured with infinity insurance on 1/21/2011. I am being honest and admiting i am the one at fault. to get to the point the vehicle was insured but i was listed as an excluded driver meaning i am not on the insurace to drive the vehicle there for our insurance would not cove any damages to either vehicle. i have been given the run around with infinity insurace. randall torres is in charge of the caims dept in the fort worth area. he told me because i am not covered im going have to pay her $1000 deductable. her damages were 2664.89 they gave her a check for 1664.89 and i would have to pay the $1000. Randall is soooo unprofesinal. i called him for weeks straight leaving him numerous messages and he never once called me back. before him not returning my phone calls i spoke to him about 3 times and my dad spoke with him twice. he told the woman we hit he has never spoken to us at all or our insurance which is a huge lie, i even gave him my statement saying i am at fault! he advised her bc of our incooporation she needs to get a lawyer and file a lawsuit to get her deductable!!! she would call our home phone like 5 times a day angry bc no one has contacted her at all. i asked randall what do i do about her calling bc im trying to go about this the right way through insurances. he told me do not reply any of her calls. then he tells her bc were not answering her calls to sue me. now bc i am a excluded driver and the insurance wont cover damages they have to send the claim to the subrogation dept which will let me know how to pay the 1000. randall told me someone in that dept would contact me in about a week. well a week goes by and nothing. so i call randall but he wont reply my calls. i call him a week sttraight and nothing! i choose to call the woman i hit personaly to let her know whats going on and how her insurance was acting twords me. she said not even her insurance had been keeping in contact with her or returning her calls thats why she had been calling us non stop. i told her im not trying to avoid this situation i just want to get this over and done with as fast as i can. i told her what randall had told me when we actually did speak at the very beging of all this and she said he was telling her the EXACT OPPISITE!! all she wants is her deductable. well i call randall back bc im pissed. again no answer. when i finally get ahold of him i request him to transfer me to his supervisor and he gives me such a hard time. he hassles me for a reason why. i told him its regarding my claim and he says what about so i tell him againg its about my claim. he refuses and continues asking why i need to speak to her and once i tell him why he will transfer me. so i tell him its to complain about him. now that i tell him y i want to talk to her he still wont transfer me. omg im super pissed. i explain to him y i am making a complait about him and he says all he can to cover his butt and point the finger at the woman we hit blaming her for everything! what an unprofessional ass. he gives me her number and i speak with her. her name is stacy and she really wasnt that much of a help. they gave me the number to the woman incharge of subrogation and i speak to her and she tells me they sent me to collections because i havnt paid!!! im like wtf! it has not even been a month since the accident and they havnt even given me a chance to pay or even let me know what i need to pay and they automatically send me to collections. im so angry. she said she sent me a letter letting me know what i owe on feb 12. (i spoke with her on the 17th) turns out they have the wrong address! well she says i dont owe 1000 for her deductable i owe the insurance 2664.89! i suposibly need to pay the deductable and pay back infinity for giving her a check for 1664.89 for her damages!! all the woman i hit wants is her deductable nothing else, we were told from the begining all we need to pay is the deductable so why are they saying we need to pay all of that. well the female in subrogation named edith rocco said if i knew from the begining that my insurance denied the claim then i should have paid at the begining! but everyone with infininty told me i had to wait for her to contact me! i am sooo confused and dont know what to believe or whats true. i dont know waht to do. this is the worst insurance company ever everyone please stay away. they lie to your face!

Sears Kenmore Elite – Damaged Floor

I went to my local store Sears in La Crosse WI at the end of September to get a Kenmore Elite washer and dryer. After I bought it the salesperson Ruth checked and the earliest date that it can be delivered wasn't until early November. I didn't want to wait that long but asked her if I can constantly call back o check for an earlier date and she said yes and so it was processed to be sent in the early November. I called the Sears 1800 number maybe a few days later/a week later to see if there is an earlier date and they told me to go back to my local store to do that. I went back to my local store to set up an earlier date and Ruth was helping me for a second time that time. It was changed to October 9, 2010. On October 6 they left me a message saying that my appliances can't be delivered on the 20th of October. I called them back on my break time cause I was at work at that time; I talked to a guy from the customer service and he said the reason why it's going to be delayed is because the pedelstals aren't done yet. I told him that I would like my washer and dryer delivered on the 9th because I need to wash many things because I will have a lot of guests over that weekend. He told me that he will make sure my washer and dryer will be sent excluding the pedelstals. The next day I got a call from Sears saying they can't deliver my washer and dryer until the 20th of October again. I called them back and wanted to talk to the person in charge; they told me that their supervisor was busy at that moment but they will tell their supervisor to give me a call back. The supervisor never called back and so I just let it go and have them deliver it on the 20th. On October 20, 2010 I was at work and my fiance was at home. The delivery team came and delivered my washer and dryer. When I came home from work at 3pm I went straight to my basement and was so excited to see my beautiful red washer and dryer and then...I saw my scratched floor and my scratched dryer. I was so mad and I asked my fiance about the delivery. He told me that they told him to sign the consent form and they only installed the washer. My fiance told them how to arrange the washer and dryer but they didn't listen to him. They told him that they are going upstairs for a bit but they left. I paid $70 for delivery and installation comes with it but they only install the washer and so my fiance have to install the dryer. I called Sears 1800 number right away and told them how disappointed I was to see scratches on my dryer and floor and especially them not installing everything. I additionally told her that I would like to speak to the delivery manager plus someone that can come fix my floor. She said that she'll let them know and it can take 48-72 hours for a phone call back. On October 26, I haven't receive a call back and so I called them back. They said that they will replace my dryer and pedelstal and I will have it delivered it by the next day On October 27, the delivery team came to deliver my merchandise but they forgot my pedalstal. There was only one guy that came in and he went to the basement to check on the scratch on my dryer and went back upstairs. I told him to send the dryer back because the pedelstal did not come with it and don't want to get another charge for delivery and so he took off. I called Sears 1800 number right away at 11:37 and talked to Ginger. I told her that the delivery was wrong and I would like to speak to a supervisor. She told me that she will have the supervisor call me. There was no phone call and so I called back at 1:40pm and talked to Viola. I got disconnected 2x. I called back at 1:50pm and talked to Lisa. She transferred me to JD in the Home Delivery Solutions. I told him what was going on and he told me there's an open spot the next day for delivery but there is no specific time when it's going to be delivered. He additionally told me that Todd Fritzled will call me ASAP but I didn't hear back from him. On October 28 I went to my local Sears and returned back the dehumidifier and water dispenser that I ordered online because I got a gift card from purchasing the washer and dryer. I didn't get anything delivered and so on October 29, I called at 8:43am and talked to Ellen. I got disconnected and called back and got her for a second time at 8:51am. I told her that I'm sick of this and want to return everything. I was on my 30 minute break at work then and told her to tell her supervisor to give me a call after 3:30pm. Still no phone call from any of the supervisors. I called back at 3:41pm and talked to Brenda. She gave me the number 954-349-1500. I called that number and reached a male and he was really rude to me. He asked me how did I get his number and I wasn't supposed to call him on that number. Liberty Travel – Misleading information

I try not to complain about business practices unless the issue is extreme and in this case, I believe it is. I’ve used Liberty Travel in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and absolutely loved the service I received from them. The agent was extremely helpful, direct and courteous. When my family decided to take a trip to Jamaica my first thought was to use Liberty Travel even though my parents have an agent at a different company. My thinking was that I knew the company gave top notch service and vacations aren’t cheap so I wanted to use this company- who in my mind- was the best. Approximately three weeks ago I called Liberty Travel at 1.888.271.1584 which transferred me to the branch in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. I thought I would get the King of Prussia branch but I figured it’s the same company so it should have been fine. I asked a bunch of questions ( but in hindsight, not enough) including “ if I find a cheaper price will Liberty Travel price match?” The reply given to me by the agent was clear and to the point- “yes.” I called back a few days later because I forgot to request how much the deposit was and after getting that cleared up I asked for a second time about the price matching because I knew that different sites offer different prices and I wanted to make sure I was getting the greatest deal. The agent for a second time confirmed that Liberty Travel price matches. About 2 weeks later- on a Thursday- I called to book my trip. Because I booked over the phone, the contract was emailed to me for my signature and I had to send it back. I viewed the contract which states in part: “Cancellation fees will apply once booked- these fees may be up to 100% of total booking cost” “Price and availability: prices and availability quoted above are subject to change ( at the sole discretion of our suppliers and are due to space sellout/demand) at any time until full payment has been revived and tickets have been issued” On Monday, only a few days later my parents called me stating that their agent contacted them stating that the hotel was running a sale and their trip will cost $300.00 than originally quoted. They received a quote from Destinationwedding.Com for the same trip, the same dates, amount of people, the same room- EVERYTHING- exactly the same but for $300.00 cheaper so I called the agent at Liberty Travel that helped me and asked her about the price matching. Again she stated that they can price match but she’ll need the quote which I immediately sent to her. She said she’ll need to contact her manager and she’ll get back to me the next day. She mentioned that the original quote given to my parents was from a previous date so I let her know the original quote was from a previous date BUT their agent changed the quote because the hotel was running a sale and I wanted the sale price. I was highly upset because the tone of her voice made me feel as if she had no intention of price matching so I told her that if the trip couldn’t be price matched I would cancel. She informed me that they booked through Apple Vacations who would keep my deposit if I canceled the trip. I asked for the phone number to Apple Vacations so I could confirm that information for myself. The agent gave me: 1800-517-2000. I called this number and the customer service executive who I spoke to stated that there was a $45.00 cancel fee but that was it. They wouldn’t keep my entire deposit since I would be canceling so early. At this point I felt as if I was being misled by Liberty Travel but I wanted to see what the manager was going to say. The next day I received a call from the manger and she informed me that they only price match at the time of booking- not after and it says that on the contract. Additionally, she let me know that Liberty Travel books the greatest price and the lowest price which clearly isn’t the case if someone else booked the same vacation for $300.00 cheaper. A few things I wanted to point out: first, when I spoke to the travel agent (on multiple occasions) she said no such thing in regards to price matching only prior to booking. Secondly, nowhere in the contract does it state that price matching only occurs at the time of booking. We went back and forth on that issue until I asked about the cancelation policy. Clearly she was not going to honor what her agent told me and I don’t like doing business with dishonest companies so I wanted to cancel the trip and book elsewhere. She told me that in order for me to cancel I would need to forfeit my deposit because that was the policy for Apple Vacations. I let her know that I called Apple and they told me something different and she then said that it was Liberty Travel’s policy. At this point, I’m certain that Liberty Travel has misled me. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage – Waiving trial by jury rights and class action rights to gain on line access

I wanted to sign up for paperless online access to our mortgage. In order to receive on line access, it required an agreement to accept binding arbitration and waive right to a trial by jury and waive right to participate in class action suits. I question the legality of this practice. What does on line access have to do with these agreements?

Time Warner Cable – Support Squad Scam

A Time Warner Cable executive charged me for Support Squad and said she could not refund the charge even though I did not request for it. A month later and four phone calls back to Time Warner, they do not know anything about the company or why I am charged. This is a scam. Time Warner sales reps do not need your debit card info to initiate an account.

Paradigm Direct – Fail to cancel the contracts

I am back again. Big Scam with Paragidm Direct and Ladco companies. Sale female set me up a merchant credit card machine and promise give me cheaper rate that bank. If I don't like in 60 days and I can cancel it.. I call to cancel it out, found out that I am stuck with contract for 4 or 5 years with leasing equipment. You could get it for $200 - $300 for it. I call D.A. and they would very interest to file complaint. The Wells Fargo bank were very nice to help me and they call Paradigm. The gentlement from Paradigm that he will cancel all contracts. It was good on Paradigm . Now, I got a collection agency for unpaid balance of First Data. I have called Paradigm in number times to returmn my calls. WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PARADIGM DIRECT AND LADCO COMPANY. I am finish yet... there is more to be posted.. I will put sale female name back on again.

Overstockdeals.com – Gone out of business

Overstockdeals.com is no longer in business - if they ever were. Their 1-800 phone number just dumps into an answering machine that no longer even accepts messages. Their live chat system has been shut down and their customer service on-line "ticket" communication system is a joke. Do not order anything from the company - they will process your credit card order as if they are in business and have the item you want in stock, but it is a complete scam. Their website needs to be shutdown or at the very least PayPal, VISA, MaterCard, etc. need to stop doing business with them.

three mobile – no service, lying staff

After 2 hours hanging on the phone, the consultant was not capable to give me a valid number to unblock my phone and hang up. To my online complaint, I got the automatic message that I will be contacted in 72 hours and the problem will be resolved within 14 days! How can a mobile company expect their customers to live 2 weeks without a mobile??? The whole conversation with the call center staff was just lies. When I called to cancel the contract, the line got suddently dead. WHAT A NIGHTMARE !!!

Baby Trend – Terrible design, terrible customer service

My husband and I bought the running stroller for $200+ and within a month it broke – couldn't fold it up any longer. We'd bought the "extended warranty" with Babies R Us which does NOTHING for you. Once the stroller breaks you have to contact Baby Trend and their policy is that you have to BUY another one, send in your receipt, and then they'll reimburse you the cost. But if you want to return the stroller – as in NOT have to buy another one – you're crap out of luck b/c they won't pay you!

KMart Pharmacy – Horrible Service

I have the misfortune of having to desal with Kmart's Pharmacy in Guam. No Walgreen's here. All the other pharmacies are local owned and do not accept BC/BS. This has to be the largest pharmacy on Guam and has absolutely the worst customer service you can find anywhere in the world. They are constantly understaffed. Waits can be an hour. Calling in to the automated refill service has never worked. Call it in, go in the next day, wait in a long line to find out they have no record. Simple transfers of prescriptions from Walgreeens turn into nightmares. They run out of some drugs that can take a week or longer to get in. They never call and tell you your prescription is ready. They have a take it or leave it attitude towards customers. Or at least white customers. I just spoke to the pharmacy female that said she was there alone and will get to my transfer maybe tomorrow if she has time. Absolutely ridiculous.
