I had an unpaid bill (a lousy R 1036-00) which additionally popped up years later, which I have paid in an attempt to get these people off my back, regardless of the fact that it was nearly 7 years later and that I still await any statement from Telkom of the amount owing. I did not want to give them my personal details but only requested a bank account so that I could settle an account that was overlooked in my divorce proceedings. I was refused the detail till my personal information was divulged, great attorneys if they could not find it for themselves?? This was paid in January, every month since then I have received notifications that the amount is due for payment, when I call in the call centre people say the 'system' says its paid but strangely the 'system' still notifies me. Please get someone to fix your 'system' and stop bugging me!
