Unfortunately I didn’t check the company out prior to buying from them. I bought what I thought were lego sets (which apparently happens to many of us based on their return policy)for my son’s birthday…Stupid me – I thought it was a reputable company. The manuals arrived and I immediately contacted this company. The representatives were very nice to me (unlike some of the other blogs I’ve read) and quite accommodating…I followed their directions exactly and sent the manuals back….$184 worth – now they can’t refund my CASH because they can’t ‘locate the package’. It’s incredible to me that the many, many packages I recieve this is the only one that has ever been lost…and it seems this has happened to many people. My son belongs to a Lego club and I’ve advise all the members to spread the word that the Brick Train Shop is not to be trusted. I even got my credit card company involved to no avail. Please don’t do what I did and trust that these people are reliable…I don’t know how they sleep at night ripping people off – especially when kids are involved. I will contact the offices listed – I’m sure there’s no hope for me but I don’t want anyone else to fall into this trap. Reading their answers to others reinforces the negative experience that I have had.
